Inside Machinist (Large Machine Operator)

Five years minimum experience as an Inside-Shop Machinist.

Recommended Skills:

Safety orientated v Proficient with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input,

Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, Operate Manual and/or NC machines such as: lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, EDMs,

Proficient with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron,

Proficient with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers,

Proficient with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements Drilling/tapping processes

Familiar with carbide machining processes,

Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints, Strong math skills, Machinist or Tool & Die
Horizontal Boring Mills, with multiple head attachments. Experience with large machining (parts up to as much as 30 feet in length) .

Experience machining large weldments, Vertical Milling Machines, Bridge/Gantry type mills with multiple head attachments.
